First day of 10k Training
For lunch I had the Queso Blanco Taco Salad from Manna. My boss got the Chocolate Tofu pie for dessert and let me try it. Let me just tell you I will be getting a dessert next time! It was delicious.
I tried this MiO liquid today. I have had the fruit punch flavor and peach tea so far. The peach tea is the best so far. I like the liquid better than the powders. The liquid doesn’t thicken the water like the powder does.
I had my first cup of hot coffee today since last fall! It was so good. I loved the weather today. It was in the 60s!
I am starting to train for a 10k! The weather was so great I couldn’t pass up running outside. Today was a 1.5 mile run. Here are my stats.
I am in love with the Map My Run iPhone app. I'm not fast yet but I am working on it! I am more concerned about being able to run distance not my speed.
On my way back to the car this was the view. So pretty. Tomorrow is a 30-40 minute bike ride. I can’t wait!

So jealous of your Manna lunch!! One of my favorite places in Tuscaloosa:) I've always wanted to try that Chocolate Tofu pie but never got around to it! It just sounded so interesting-glad to know it's good!

ReplyDeleteThank you I need all the wishing well I can get! I don't love it and I don't hate it. With a boyfriend who runs marathons I decided I should give it a try. It is encouraging to see improvements on how far you can run without filling like you are about to pass out.
