What I Ate Wednesday #1

I have never done a What I Ate Wednesday post before but thought it would be fun. I love getting ideas of meals to make from other blogs. So here we go!

These are from random days last week. They are the only food pictures I have taken lately.

waffle sandwich

One of my favorite quick breakfasts. I saw a variation of this on Julie's PB Fingers blog. At first I thought it would be gross but don't knock it till you try it! Waffle Sandwich - two whole grain waffles, cheddar cheese and strawberry jam.

lunch

For lunch I packed steamed broccoli and cheese and a turkey lettuce wrap.

lunch2

lettuce, turkey, cheese and honey mustard

taco salad

Taco Salad – baked scoops, ground turkey cooked with onions, green bell peppers, cumin and chili powder, lettuce, cheese, salsa and fat free sour cream.

Question:
  • What yummy things have you been eating lately?

  1. Cheddar cheese and strawberry jam together? What an intriguing combination! I'll definitely have to give it a go.

  4. I love taco salad! Yum! I'm not so sure about cheese covered waffles, but waffles are pretty delicious so I won't knock it till I try it. ;)

  7. I need waffles now. Every time I get two pieces of bread/bagel/anything, I make one savory and one sweet. Best of both worlds!
