After a challenging and rough week, things are beginning to look up. Yesterday, the doctor removed the drainage tubes from my Dad's head and this morning he was moved out of TSICU and into a regular hospital room. If all things go as planned he will be moved on Monday to Northport DCH Rehab for 2 weeks. He has been recovering a lot better and faster than I would have ever thought someone could after having brain surgery. Less than three hours after the surgery on Monday he was awake and talking to us.
Trey's Mom sent Dad flowers. They are pretty fall colors and make his hospital room look a little more warm and welcoming.
We celebrated his birthday on Wednesday complete with cupcakes and balloons.
Thank you for all of your prayers! Please pray that his rehabilitation continues to go well!
