Thanksgiving: Part 1

I got lucky this year and got to attend not one, but two Thanksgiving dinners. The first one was last Saturday the 17th. We had Thanksgiving at my Aunt's. My cousins were in town so we went ahead and celebrated early.

Mom made these mini brownie cupcakes with peanut butter frosting.

I tried out a new creamy broccoli casserole.

I also made one of my favorites, squash casserole. I am pretty sure I will never get tired of this cheesy goodness.

After dinner, it was time to decorate the tree.

Aunt Julie is never boring, that is for sure. We always have a good time at her house.

  1. I hadn't heard of squash casserole until my roommate made some last year. I can say now that I approve. :) your broccoli casserole looks yummy as well! and I love the feathers on your Christmas tree.

  2. Beautiful tree! Your Aunt Julie looks like fun! :)

  3. Sounds like lots of fun - that squash casserole looks yummy!
