Moe's Southwest Grill + Giveaway(closed)

 

I was contacted by Moe's Southwest Grill to try out their burrito bowls. So, yesterday for lunch I went and got one to go. In my bowl I ordered rice, chicken, grilled onions and peppers, pico, cheese, lettuce and sour cream. The grilled onions and peppers had a great flavor. The whole bowl was good. 

If you are in Tuscaloosa or Birmingham the burrito bowls are only $2 this Wednesday. So you should go get one!

As part of the Foodbuzz Tastemaker Program, I received a free Duncan Hines product of my choice. I chose the Carrot Cake mix. I also received several coupons for a free Duncan Hines product to share with my family, friends and readers!

I made the cupcakes for my family’s Thanksgiving get together on Sunday. Even though I received the cake mix for free these opinions are strictly my own!

The mix came with a separate packet of carrots and raisins. This made it super easy to pick out the raisins (not a fan of shriveled up grapes).

Follow the directions on the box and you’ll get a very moist and tasty cupcake!

On the other hand, follow directions on a random cream cheese icing recipe on the internet and get a delicious yet runny glaze type icing… not creamy and frosting like. It tasted amazing but melted and did not look the greatest. I probably should have used another coupon and just got some Duncan Hines Whipped Cream Cheese frosting. Lucky you I didn’t use an extra one.
